G’s Favorite Places
Everyone has their favorite places, where their connection to the landscape is more intertwined with their sense of being than other settings.
For Gordon, the list of his favorite places include Santa Rosa Island of the Channel Islands National Park, the Mokelumne River Canyon in Calaveras/Amador counties, Point Reyes National Seashore, the Highway 88 corridor in the central Sierras, and the large Humboldt County ranch he spends a month on every year.
